                                                                                 Welcome to the New City Softball Association Vipers fastpitch travel softball                                                                                                                team web site. The team is comprised of a wonderful group of young ladies from                                                                                                          Greater Jacksonivlle area.

 

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to develop a strong Team and strong Team Players through positive attitude and training in the fundamentals of softball. We will provide the foundation, training and opportunities ecessary for our girls to play at a higher level and ultimately build confidence and positive attitudes. We believe that there is no victory without integrity

 

We are confident that every player coming out of the Vipers program will have had an opportunity to craft their softball as well as their life skills pride, effort, self-confidence, respect for oneself and others - and will have established a lifetime of memories'

We will carry approximately 14 individuals on each team roster to allow maximum playing time for each player. The manager and coaches may increase the roster size if they believe this to be in the best interests of the Vipers. This is not recreation, softball. The coaching staff is committed to balancing competitiveness and maintaining a positive experience for all players.

 

Although we will always play to win, it is not a win at all cost mentality. All players must understand that, unlike recreation softball, the manager does not guarantee minimum playing times.

 

We are big believers in teamwork we practice as a team and we play as a team. Therefore, we expect that all players will attend as many games and practices as possible. The coaching staff will make all player assignments based on the needs of the team. All players’ will "earn their position." through hard work and dedication, before, during, and after practice.

 

 

 

 

                                                                                                            Congratulations to Ashley Tessier on her recent signing with Kentucky Christian University.

                                                                                                            She is signed as a Utility Player and they will be making her a slap hitter to use her speed in                                                                                                             their up coming seasons.  She has worked hard and will continue to work hard and                                                                                                                             advancing her skills as she starts her collegiate career.

 

                                                                                                            She will be majoring in Sports management focusing on baseball to make her future career                                                                                                                 in future in sports.  She will continue in softball after her career starts as a coach teaching                                                                                                                 what she learns to many young female athletes in the future.  

                                                                                                                        

                                                                                                            The coaches wish her a bright and successful future, we know that her hard work and                                                                                                                          dedication will be an asset to her new team..
